UPPER OXFORD TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

NOVEMBER 7, 2005

 

               The Upper Oxford Township Planning Commission held its regular monthly meeting at the township building, 1185 Limestone Road, Russellville, PA at 7:30 P.M. on Monday, October 3, 2005.

 

               Members present:  Christine Nibouar, Sam Reyburn, Henry Huber, Harold Bryson and Thomas Williams

 

               Others present:  Jane Daggett, Betsy Huber, Nathan King, Christ Stoltzfus, Daniel Stoltzfus, Emanuel B. Esh, Charles and Blair Fleischmann, Margaret Hickman, Fran Sharon, Anthony Beiler, Ben Beiler, Eric and Terry Knutsen, Kera Smith, Steve Donnelley, Jim Gordon and Robert Wiggins

 

CHRIST STOLTZFUS – Mr. Stoltzfus presented a sketch plan for a Land Development Plan on Homeville Road.  His church would like to place a cemetery on a one acre parcel .  This would require a Special Exception before the Zoning Hearing Board. 

 

COMMUNITY OF LOVE LUTHERAN CHURCH – A letter was received from Reverend Dan Bodine, officially withdrawing the Land Development Plan of the church.

 

AG ZONING – Kevin Myers of Chester County Planning Commission requested the planning members to look at the map which he left with the township and decide which areas should remain in the R-I and which will be in the new “effective ag zoning”.  Betsy Huber explained to the public, the map and what the township is proposing with the ag zoning.  However, Betsy informed the audience that the next meeting with the County will be November 21, 2005 at 7:00 P.M. at which time more detailed maps and information will be available for the public.

 

Steve Donnelley questioned the planning members on explaining open space in the Bartels/Hickman subdivision and also lighting standards in our township.

 

ADJOURNMENT – Motion  was made by Christine Nibouar, seconded by Harold Bryson and carried unanimously to adjourn at 8:30 P.M.
