UPPER OXFORD TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION

AUGUST 7, 2006

 

               The Upper Oxford Township Planning Commission held its regular monthly meeting at the township building, 1185 Limestone Road, Russellville, PA at 7:30 P.M. on Monday, August 7, 2006.

 

               Members present:  Christine Nibouar, Sam Reyburn, Betsy Huber, Harold Bryson and township engineer, Ronald Ragan

 

               Others present:  Jane Daggett, Blair Fleischmann, Jim Gordon, Bill Schoell, Wendy Mical, Scott Rugen, Fran Sharon, Steve Donnelley, John St.John, Ron Elliott, Richard Rettig and Ed Jefferis

 

RICHARD RETTIG – 3 Lot Sketch Plan for property located on Homeville Road.  This plan was presented by Ed Jefferis of Concord Land Planners.  The property consists of approximately 31 acres and was initially submitted to the Zoning Hearing Board for a variance.  After studying the ordinance, the applicant is proposing that the plan be accepted under Section 402, and divide the total acreage into three, ten (10) acre, agricultural parcels.  Christine Nibouar will contact the Solicitor regarding this proposal and notify Concord Land Planners of her findings.

 

CHRIST STOLTZFUS – 2 Lot Subdivision on Homeville Road.  This plan was presented by Ed Jefferis.  This property was approved by a Conditional Hearing on March 15, 2006 regarding a “flag lot” and approved by the Zoning Hearing Board regarding the driveway on January 10, 2006.  Results of both decisions should be placed on the subdivision plan.

 

SIGNATURES OF OWNERS ON PLANS – Was discussed by the Planning Commission and Ed Jefferis.  Since the owners sign all application forms, their signatures are not required again until the plans become final and are presented to the township.

 

VINCENT TALIERCIO – 2 Lot Subdivision and Add-on Plan on Webb Road – No Activity.

 

JOHN R. ST.JOHN – 3 Lot Subdivision on Forest Manor Road – No Activity.

 

LINDA PIERCE – 2 Lot Subdivision on Pennsgrove Road.  Sam feels this is a flag lot.  Christine will check with the Solicitor.

 

ADJOURNMENT – There being no further business, motion was made by Christine Nibour, seconded by Betsy Huber and carried unanimously to adjourn at 8:00 P.M.
