UPPER OXFORD TOWNSHIP PLANNING COMMISSION
JULY 2, 2007
The Upper Oxford Township Planning Commission held its regular monthly meeting at the township building, 1185 Limestone Road, Russellville, PA at 7:30 P.M. on Monday, July 2, 2007
Members present: Christine Nibouar, Sam Reyburn, David Underwood, Harold Bryson, Karl Herr and township engineer, Ron Ragan
Others present: Jane Daggett, Secretary, Betsy Huber, Nathan King, Scott Rugen, Jim Fritsch, Bill Schoell, Fred Sibley, Marty Fumo, Charles Pitts, Charles Fleischmann and Russ Lasko
FINISH LINE LAND DEVELOPMENT PLAN – According to Christine’s conversation with the township solicitor, 2 driveways are not permitted since the original subdivision plan did not show two drives. Therefore, Finish Line will need to amend the original subdivision plan of the Forestville Business Center, Phase III before they can go forward with their land development plan.
WIGGINS/BAINBRIDGE – Final Subdivision Plan –
Jim Fritsch discussed the latest engineer review letter with the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission also reviewed and signed Componet 4-Aof the Sewage Module. The name of the road will be “Empie Drive” which was acceptable by the County 911 Coordinator.
Motion was made by Same Reyburn, seconded by Christine Nibouar and carried that the jurisdictional determination is not needed and recommending that it be passed on to the Board of Supervisors. MOTION CARRIED.
BARTELS/HICKMAN – Ron Ragan discussed with the Planning Commission the possibilities of using the open space for a recreational park.
SHAW/RIDINGS – Was discussed by the Planning Commission. Charles Fleischmann reported that he met with Penn Dot officials regarding a traffic study at this site. According to Charlie’s information, the site distance in not adequate. Jim Fritsch, engineer for the developer will contact the firm hired by the developer to discuss this.
WEST WIND FARM – Londonderry Township – The Secretary has requested a copy of the plan.
ADJOURNMENT – There being no further business, Motion was made by Harold Bryson, seconded by Dave Underwood to adjourn at 8:25 P.M.
