UPPER OXFORD TOWNSHIP SEPTEMBER 11, 2006 Upper Oxford Township Board of Supervisors held their regular monthly meeting at the township building, 1185 Limestone Road, Russellville, PA on Monday, September 11, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. PRESENT: James E. Gordon Betsy E. Huber Charles Fleischmann Jane Daggett, Secretary Blair Fleischmann, Emergency Mgmnt’s Coordinator Frances Reyburn, Historic Commission John Coldiron, Zoning Officer OTHERS: Sam Reyburn Karl Herr Christine Niboaur Harold Bryson Steve Donnelley Arlene Hershey Fran Sharon After the Salute to the Flag, Jim Gordon led in prayer. PUBLIC COMMENTS - At this time, public comments were asked for based on the agenda. Mrs. Arlene Hershey brought before the Supervisors a request to dedicate Log House Road to the Township. Procedure was discussed and will be pursued. MINUTES - Motion was made by Betsy Huber, seconded by Charles Fleischmann and carried to approve the August 14, 2006 minutes. Gordon - Yea Huber - Yea Fleischmann - Yea CHRIST STOLTZFUS - 2 lot subdivision on Homeville Road. Motion was made by Betsy Huber, seconded by Charles Fleischmann to approve the 2 lot subdivision plan, Project # 0599. Gordon - Yea Huber - Yea Fleischmann - Yea WILLIAM AND MARGARET SHAW TRACT - Motion was made by Betsy Huber, seconded by Charles Fleischmann to accept and grant extension for 60 days, new extension will expire 11/29/06. Gordon - Yea Huber - Yea Fleischmann - Yea WIGGINS/BAINBRIDGE TRACT - Motion was made by Betsy Huber, seconded by Charles Fleischmann to accept and grant extension for 90 days, new extension will expire 12/29/06. Gordon - Yea Huber - Yea Fleischmann - Yea KINGS MILL I - Motion by Betsy Huber, seconded by Charles Fleischmann to accept and grant extension until October 14, 2007. Gordon - Yea Huber - Yea Fleischmann - Yea KINGS MILL II - Motion by Betsy Huber, seconded by Charles Fleischmann to accept and grant extension until 12/13/06. Gordon - Yea Huber - Yea Fleischmann - Yea LINDA PIERCE - Motion by Betsy Huber, seconded by Charles Fleischmann to accept and grant extension for 90 days, will expire 12/29/06. Gordon - Yea Huber - Yea Fleischmann - Yea JOHN ST. JOHN - Motion by Betsy Huber, seconded by Charles Fleischmann to accept and grant extension for 90 days. Gordon - Yea Huber - Yea Fleischmann - Yea ZONING AND BUILDING INSPECTION - John Coldiron read his zoning and building inspection reports for the month. ROADS REPORT AND EMERGENCY MGT REPORT - Were submitted PAYMENT OF BILLS - Motion by Betsy Huber, seconded by Charles Fleischmann to approve the payment of bills in the amount $3,870.00 for the State Fund, $449.38 from the Open Space Fund and $45,265.67 from the General Fund. Gordon - Yea Huber - Yea Fleischmann - Yea REGIONAL HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION PROGRAM - Motion by Betsy Huber, seconded by Charles Fleischmann to participate in this program. Gordon - Yea Huber - Yea Fleischmann - Yea Upper Oxford Township September 11, 2006 Page 3 WINTER TRAFFIC SERVICES SUPPLEMENTAL AGREEMENT - Motion by Charles Fleischmann, seconded by Betsy Huber to adopt Resolution #2006-9, conditioned upon Exhibit A being attached. Gordon - Yea Huber - Yea Fleischmann - Yea PLANET AID REQUEST - Supervisors agreed to participate in the program on a trial basis.
